Step-In Design

Step-In harnesses are perfect for your pup especially if they are sensitive or frightened of having a harness pushed over their head. The single opening step-in design is so easy to put on. All you have to do is place your dog's front legs into the opening of the harness.

Scratch Resistant Outer Layer

The scratch resistant outer layer prevents fraying from everyday wear and tear or scratching from your pup's paws, adding durability and making the harness longer lasting.

Breathable, Lightweight, and Wrinkle Free Mesh

Weighing less than 0.15 lbs, the mesh polyester fabric is lightweight, comfortable, and keeps your pup's body temperature cool. Not to mention it is wrinkle free to keep the perfect look.

Quick Release Buckle

In house custom designed buckle for easy release and puts less stress on your fingers.

Sizing Adjustment Tab

Used to adjust the firmness around the chest such that even when the leash is off, the harness stays intact.

POM Plastic Leash Ring

The same material used in seat belt buckles. Both lightweight and extremely durable.

Machine Washable

Machine washable material allows for easy cleaning and quick air dry, saving you time and hassle.

The Simple Series places a strong emphasis on simplicity, giving utmost priority to the fundamental functions that matter most in a harness: ease of use, comfort, and durability.

Harnesses in this collection may be straightforward in design, but it effectively accomplishes its purpose with great efficiency.

On top of that, the Simple Step-In III comes with the following features:

  • Step-In Design - perfect for your pup especially if they are sensitive or frightened of having a harness pushed over their head.
  • Scratch Resistant Outer Layer - specifically engineered to withstand scratches or daily wear and tear.
  • Quick Release Buckle - In house custom designed buckle for easy release and puts less stress on your fingers.
  • Breathable Mesh Fabric - keeps your pup's body temperature cool and comfortable.

The outer layer is made with scratch resistant material.

The inner body layer is made with soft and lightweight breathable mesh fabric.

The hardware (i.e. quick release buckles and rings) are made of P.O.M. plastic. It is the same material used for seatbelts.

All Gooby harnesses are carefully designed with the security and well-being of dogs in mind but depending on the circumstances beyond our control (i.e. misuse, chewing, incorrect measurement and etc.), escape can potentially happen.

If your dog is an Escape Artist, you might be interested in our Escape Series of Harnesses.

Follow these steps:

1. Unbuckle the plastic buckle.
2. Lay the harness flat on the ground.
3. Have your dog's legs step into the opening, and pull the harness up to the dog's back.
4. Fasten the buckle and adjust the straps for a comfortable and secure fit.

Follow these steps:

1. Look for the D-ring that is located on one of the straps. It should be positioned at the top of your dog's back when the harness is on correctly.
2. When the harness is on your dog, you should also notice a thin grey vertical line on your dog's chest, about the width of one finger.

It can be adjusted using the rubber adjusters located on the straps.

Simply slide the adjusters up or down to achieve a snug and comfortable fit for your dog.

The D-ring are made of Polyoxymethylene (POM) plastic, an extremely impact resistant plastic known for its superior strength and elasticity.

While the Simple Step-In III and the Escape Free Easy Fit harness may appear similar, they have key distinguishing features that set them apart from one another.

Here are the main differences between the two harnesses:

1. The Simple Step-In III does not have the Escape Free Functionality of the Easy Fit. This means that the harness does not tighten or contract when the dog tries to pull by backing up.
2. The Simple Step-In III incorporates a scratch-resistant layer, whereas the Escape Free harness primarily utilizes neoprene material.

While is it made to be comfortable and lightweight, it is not recommended for all day wear.

The design causes the straps to hang long on the sides if the harness is left on without the leash attached.

Gooby harnesses are not chew-proof and/or is not designed specifically for dogs that have a tendency to chew. It may not hold up to extended biting or chewing.

Important note: Defects caused by chewing is not covered by our warranty.

We stand by our products. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, you may return your order within 30 days of purchase for a refund of the items.

We are currently only able to create labels for U.S. based address.
